At Rise, independently licensed clinicians are able to provide in depth psychological assessments and reports used to determine whether individuals will be able to remain lawfully in the United States. The assessment will ask questions about the client, and issues specific to the client's immigration case. It may also be necessary to speak with others familiar with the client's case to provide additional relevant information. Various assessment tools will be used during the course of the assessment. All evaluation sessions are confidential.
What type of Evaluations are provided?
We conduct the following types of evaluations:
- Extreme Hardship Cases
- Spousal Abuse (VAWA) Cases
- Political Asylum Cases
- U Visa Cases
- T Visa Cases
- Cancellation of Removal Cases
Other important info:
It is important to note, that while a psychological evaluation can greatly strengthen the case of a client, the therapist/ evaluator makes no guarantees regarding the outcome of the case. It is typical that these evaluations can be very important for the immigration process though. The report can vary from 10-20+ pages depending on the case circumstances and can address very import questions for the client's specific case. The typical time-frame for a completed evaluation and report can be between 7-14 days, depending on need. Expedited services are available for an additional cost. Clients are able to come to the office or evaluations can be conducted via a HIPAA compliant video chat platform. Sessions are available in English and Arabic. All others will require an interpreter provided by the client.
