Ashley Jamison is a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Ohio. Residing in Cleveland, Ohio, Ashley has been in the behavioral health field for over seven years. Throughout the course of her career she has worked in residential treatment and corrections serving individuals with co-occurring disorders.
Ashley is a proud alumna of The Ohio State University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Professions with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. Through dedication, she received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University.
Specializing in mental health and substance use treatment, She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) Mindfulness, & Trauma Recovery. Ashley’s goal at Rise Counseling is to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and to assist clients with choosing empowerment over shame.
Ashley currently accepts clients Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10am-6pm, Wednesday 11 am-7 pm, and Friday 10am-12pm. Ashley works under the supervision of De’Asia L. Thompson, LISW-S
In her spare time, she loves watching football (Buckeyes/Browns), traveling, music on vinyl, yoga, and quality time with family and long time friends.
