What You’ll Learn

  1. Recognize Warning Signs
    ↪ Identify early indicators of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, and psychosis.
  2. Provide Initial Support
    ↪ Use the ALGEE action plan to offer compassionate first aid to someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
  3. Crisis Intervention
    ↪ Learn how to safely approach situations involving suicidal ideation, self-harm, or acute psychiatric distress.
  4. Connect to Resources
    ↪Guide Individuals toward professional help, community services, and peer support networks effectively.

What do I need to attend virtually?

A stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a quiet space. The session is held via Zoom/Google Meet link will be emailed to you.

Is payment required at registration?

Yes, payment of $100 is required to secure your slot. Slots are limited to 30 per session and fill quickly. Payment instructions will be provided in your confirmation email.
