Drew Zwiesler, SWT

MSW Intern

She/Her
Clinical Therapist

Hello, my name is Drew Zwiesler, I am currently enrolled at Mount Vernon Nazarene University to receive my MSW in Behavioral Health and will be graduating in the summer of 2026. I received my Bachelors degree in Social Work Generalist Practice at MVNU in 2025. My training has included focus on mental health, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care. As well as foundational studies on human behavior, social policy, ethics, and advocacy. Working at Rise has expanded my training in child and adolescent trauma-informed care.

I started in the field as a house manager at Hope Hub Xenia which is a transformational living facility for women struggling with addiction. Most of my experience has involved helping these women through mental health struggles, crisis intervention related to addiction and sex-trafflicking, and health and wellness coaching.

Our team at Rise Counseling Group specializes in equipping Black women, teens, and Women of Color to overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. I am passionate about providing holistic, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care to clients, while recognizing the unique stressors and barriers presented to this population. I look forward to being a part of your mental wellness journey.

I can be seen in the office or online on Wednesdays from 2-8 pm, Thursdays from 2-7 pm, and Saturdays from 9-1 pm.
