Megan is a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio and Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in mental health and substance abuse from the University of Texas at Arlington.
As an Air Force veteran and now military spouse, she aims to help others struggling with work-life balance. Megan is passionate about helping individuals take back their life and transform their thoughts from trauma using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. She specializes in trauma, depression, anxiety, and family therapy using CPT and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Megan is also trained to provide crisis response planning. She is committed to serving the population of Dayton in a supportive and non-judgemental environment at RISE Counseling Group under the Supervision of De’Asia L. Thompson, LISW-S.
In her spare time, Megan enjoys running, decorating, reading, playing with her two sons, having an occasional date night with the hubby, and watching funny sitcoms.
Megan sees clients from Ohio & Texas part-time online Monday through Thursday in the evenings from 5-8pm(EST).
