Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Jessica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker residing in Cleveland, Ohio. Growing up in the inner city of Cleveland, Jessica always knew she wanted to make an impact in her community in a major way and she has set out to do so in both her personal and professional pursuits.
Jessica is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2009; Jessica’s concentration during this time was criminology and criminal justice. Jessica has worked to support juveniles in the corrections system. Continuing her education, Jessica graduated from Cleveland State University in 2013, earning a Master of Social Work.
Additionally, Jessica has work experience in community mental health, juvenile justice, case management and emergency room services. Jessica has experience working with various medical diagnosis, mental health diagnosis and treatment models. Now at Rise Counseling Group Jessica looks forward to supporting those attempting to manage depression, anxiety, grief, work-life balance, and transitions in life.
Jessica is passionate about working with women, teens and children utilizing multiple treatment models including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solutions-Focused interventions. Jessica’s goal in practice is to support, teach, encourage, and empower with the belief that we all can be healthy and happy and that looks different for each of us. One of Jessica’s favorite sayings is “we will get through this together”.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, interior design, wedding planning, and walking her dog Ivy.
