Clinical Intern
Wassup!
My name is Da’vion Lane. I am a Counseling Intern at Rise Counseling Group. I’m originally from Michigan, but I’ve made Dayton my home. My passion is helping youth and individuals. I decided to pursue Counseling because we have a great need in the Black community, especially our boys and men.
I graduated from Glen Oaks Community College with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. I then obtained a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Central State University with a minor in Business Administration. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling at Wilberforce University.
In my spare time, I enjoy coaching middle school basketball here in Dayton. Over the next year, I will work with clients at Rise Counseling Group, learn how to be the best therapist I can be for teens and young adults, and study for licensure. Upon graduation and licensure, I will be a LPC.
Starting August 1, I will see clients in the office Monday through Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 8 to 12 p.m., and Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. I am under the supervision of Aliyah Wilson, LPCC-S. I look forward to working with you.
